Todays’s Fresh Strawberry Margarita Recipe is so simple to make and so aromatic, it’s hard to stop with just one.
You can make this Fresh Strawberry Margarita Recipe all year, but it’s best in the summer when the berries are ripe, sweet, and sun-kissed.
The base of the beverage includes fresh hulled strawberries, tequila, triple sec, and lime juice.
However, I like to add two surprise ingredients to intensify the flavor… Fresh mint leaves, and chunky strawberry jam.
The addition of strawberry jam sweetens the Fresh Strawberry Margarita Recipe, and provides a double-blast of strawberry flavor, making the fresh strawberries really shine.
Adding the mint leaves, give the strawberry essence a little unexpected pop of freshness and contrast.
Then of course the tequila, triple sec, and lime juice offer that traditional margarita appeal we all know and love. Add a salty rim and you’ve got a fabulous cocktail to share with friends!

Fresh Strawberry Margarita Recipe
Yield: 4-6 servings

Fresh Strawberry Margarita Recipe with mint! Sweet and perky margaritas with fresh summer produce.
- 1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled
- 1 cup reposado tequila
- 3/4 cup fresh squeezed lime juice
- 2/3 cup strawberry jam
- 1/4 cup triple sec
- 10 fresh mint leaves
- Salt for rims
- Place the strawberries, tequila, lime juice, strawberry jam, triple sec, and mint leaves in the blender. Add 3-4 cups of ice and puree until smooth.
- Press the rims of the glass into simple syrup or agave. (You could also paint them with strawberry jam.) Then press the rims into salt.
- Pour the margaritas into the glasses. Garnish with fresh strawberries and lime wedges if desired.
