A Spicy Perspective


The Plant-Based Diet is a healthy eating plan focused on foods primarily from plants.

This includes not only fruits and vegetables, but also nuts, seeds, oils, whole grains, legumes, and beans. Eating a Plant-Based Diet does not mean you are strictly vegetarian or vegan. Some animal protein and dairy is acceptable.

The goal is to eat a much larger amount of foods from plant sources, and avoid heavy fats from animal sources, as well as heavily processed foods.
