  • Yellow mustard – or Dijon for a “fancy” cheeseburger pie

How To Make The Impossible Cheeseburger Pie

  1. Grease a deep dish pie pan with some nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Grab a skillet and cook the ground beef, chopped onion and garlic, frequently breaking it apart with a wooden spoon to avoid large clumps of meat. Make sure you season that with some salt and pepper.
  3. Once the beef is cooked through, go ahead and drain any excess fat in the pan. Add in the pickle relish and mustard and toss to coat. Transfer the meat filling into your greased pie plate.

Recipe Variations

  • Ground turkey – For a leaner option, swap the beef with ground turkey.
  • Swiss cheese – If you’re not a fan of good old American cheese, you can substitute it for Swiss cheese for a punchier bite.
  • Bacon – Add some crispy bacon bits into the meat filling for extra flavor.
  • Barbecue sauce – Stir in a dollop of bbq sauce for sweet and smoky twist.
  • Cornbread – You can try this recipe with cornbread mix instead of Bisquick for some southern flavor.
