Sommer’s Recipe Notes
To make the easiest fall-inspired treat, you can make a simple Pumpkin Shake! It is basically like a slice of pumpkin pie without the pie crust, and therefore, without all the work.
But when it comes to fall, a pumpkin shake is the way to go. This Pumpkin Pie Milkshake recipe was a treat I served to our Halloween party guests several years back, and it’s become a seasonal favorite in my house ever since.
You Should Make This Recipe Because…
- Easy to Make – Whip up milkshakes in less than 5 minutes!
- Few Ingredients – You only need a handful of staple ingredients.
- Big Flavor – This recipe is sensational! Creamy, cozy, and loaded with baking spices!

Ingredients For Pumpkin Milkshakes
This Pumpkin Spice Shake recipe utilizes simple ingredients to craft the ultimate fall-inspired treat. If you have extra pumpkin puree from a previous recipe, that is perfect to use here! The gingersnaps add a little extra flavor and thicken this shake-up. After you blend it up, don’t forget to top it off with some whipped cream!
- Pumpkin Puree – make sure to use canned pumpkin that is 100% pumpkin and not pumpkin pie filling!
- Brown Sugar – for a caramel flavored sweetness
- Pumpkin Pie Spice – to make it taste like real pumpkin pie!
- Vanilla Ice Cream – don’t be shy with the scoops of ice cream!
- Gingersnap Cookies – break them up into small pieces so they blend more easily
- Milk – to add some creaminess
