Summer Bourbon Cocktails
Still on the lookout for refreshing summer bourbon drinks? Today Lt. Dan’s got an amazing Lemon Apricot Summer Bourbon Cocktails for sultry evenings.

Why We Love Summer Bourbon Cocktails
We love summer bourbon drinks. Although brown liquor is often thought of as a fall and winter libation, mixing the depth of bourbon with fresh bright ingredients creates alluring beverages for every season.
Today’s summer cocktail is a combination of bourbon, both limoncello and fresh lemon juice, apricot, and sage leaves to balance the flavors. It’s bold, refreshing, and completely irresistible.
Give it a try, we think you will love our “Indian Summer” bourbon cocktail recipe.

Ingredients Checklist
- Good bourbon whiskey
- Limoncello
- Fresh lemon juice (or lime juice)
- Apricot jam (or peach jam)

Pro Tips: This combination of fresh fruit flavor, citrus, sweetness, and herbs is remarkably appealing! However, if you can’t find (or don’t like) sage leaves, consider adding basil leaves or fresh mint sprig.
You can also garnish this fabulous beverage with fresh strawberries or blackberries, apricot slices or peaches, or a simple twist of lemon or orange peel.
