Best Cherry Coconut Homemade BrownieĀ – This homemade brownie recipe with creamy coconut swirls and fresh ripe cherries, is something to experience!
Wanting What You Canāt Have
These brownies are so irresistible, I kind of feel like a bad person, showing you a picture of them when you can’t reach out and grab one… Sorry.
I understand though, because I have a friend who always talked about a chocolate cherry coconut candy that she gets every year from someone she knows that travels to Australia often. These candies sound absolutely delicious!Ā
I can’t stand it when I hear about something amazing like that, but don’t have the means to experience it for myself. Therefore, every time she mentions these illusive bars (at least Illusive in the US) I can’t stop thinking about them for days on end.Ā
Her Cherry Ripe candies got me thinking, and I got to work.
Creating This Homemade Brownie Recipe
My Cherry Ripe envy then led to the creation of these magnificently decadent homemade brownies. So in a way, my manic obsession was a good thing.
Right?
Now I (or we) can have Australian Cherry Ripe inspired treats whenever we want, mate.
How To Make These Brownies From Scratch
This wickedly wonderful Cherry Coconut Brownie Recipe starts with a dark chocolate base, speckled with chocolate morsels for good measure. This, to me, makes these the best brownies I have ever tasted.
Then a thick creamy coconut mixture is swirled over the top, followed by fresh pitted cherries.
As the brownies bake, the ripe juicy fresh cherries settle into the brownies releasing their juices into the batter. So that each bite is a fusion of dark, tart and creamy tropical flavors.

How to tell if your brownies are done?
To check the interior of the brownies, all you have to do is grab a toothpick and poke it in the center of the pan. If it comes out without brownie batter on it, your brownies are overcooked. How to make brownies moist?
When making brownies, you do not need to use a good amount of flour. Too much flour makes the brownies dry. If you measured properly and still end up with dry brownies, then you might be overpacking your flour in the measuring cup. Remember to stir the flour in the bag, spoon it into the measuring cups, then level the top.
If you want to keep your brownies moist while storing them in a container, place an end piece of sandwich bread at the top of the container. The moisture from the bread will transfer to the brownies, help keep the brownies moist and fresh for a few days longer.Ā

I would make eggplant parm
Oh my goodness those brownies look phenomenal. I might back them first if I can find myself some fresh cherries in season. But since that’s doubtful at the moment, I might just have to go for some regular brownies. It’s been a while since I’ve made brownies and now they are on my mind.
I’m in love with these flavors!
Oh *yum*! These look/sound heavenly!
This is a rough one. One dish would be my grandma’s best ever Chicken Enchiladas and the second would be a fantastic layered Pumpkin and Cheesecake that my husband adores in the fall/winter but really wants all year. Grandma’s Chicken Enchiladas would be perfect for this dishes. As always, good luck to all and have a great day.
