Frequently Asked Questions

What do you put cinnamon honey butter on?

Oh my gosh, SO many things! Texas Roadhouse honey cinnamon butter is, of course, a must-have with their copycat rolls or other classic yeast dinner rolls. It’s also a delicious butter on tender squares of homemade cornbread and just about any warm rolls or slices of fresh bread!

Slather the softened butter onto breakfast favorites like morning toast or bagels, buttermilk drop biscuits, cut-out biscuits, or fluffy cathead biscuits. It’s also delicious with sweeter options, like pumpkin muffins, banana bread, waffles, french toast, and diner-style pancakes.

Or serve with warm desserts like sweet potato pound cake and kougin amann rolls!

Can’t get enough cinnamon? You’ve got to try our 4-ingredient cinnamon sugar buns or cinnamon drop biscuits recipes, too!

Can I double this recipe?

Sure! Make a full cup + of cinnamon butter by simply doubling the ingredients. But you might want to use an electric mixer (hand mixer) to combine a larger amount so that it’s evenly smooth.

Should I refrigerate Texas Roadhouse butter?

Yes, you should refrigerate the butter if you aren’t planning to use it within a few hours.

How long does homemade honey butter last?

This copycat Texas Roadhouse butter recipe will stay well for up to a week in the fridge and stored in an airtight container.

I suggest letting the butter set out on the counter for 20-30 minutes before serving to let it soften again.
