Coconut Choco Chai Smoothie
Serving up easy and healthy breakfast smoothies that taste like a dream! Today’s Chocolate Smoothie Recipe with Coconut and Chai is satisfying and sweet. Just what I need to start my day off on the right track.
Now that school is back in session, our morning time is rush, rush, rushed!
We get the kids up at 6:30am whizz through primping, then head downstairs to pack lunches and prepare breakfast before we head out the door at 7:20. That’s a lot to pack into 50 minutes, but none of us can stomach getting up any earlier than 6:30 in the morning.
It can be tricky to prepare a healthy and filling breakfast in the 10-15 minutes we allow for breakfast each day. And honestly, most of the things I can think to feed the kids in a short timeframe are loaded with junk.
So most days we rely on a good smoothie recipe to keep the kids happy, fill our tummies, and pump us full of vitamins and minerals.
One of our favorites is a chocolate smoothie recipe with coconut and chai… and Yes, it’s full of vitamins and minerals. I promise.
I accomplish this by adding a scoop of Greens+ Advanced Multi Superfood to each smoothie.
Greens+ is a powerful powdered greens blend packed with raw green foods, superfruits, sea vegetables, herbs, probiotics, and vitamins. It is soy free, dairy free, gluten free and non-gmo.
You can mix it with water and take a shot of greens for a healthy morning boost, or you can mix it into your favorite chocolate smoothie recipe, like we do.
We love adding Greens+ Vanilla Chai Superfood to our chocolate smoothie recipe with coconut milk, for a rich blend of complex flavors. The touch of chai spices and creamy coconut milk, make this a healthy smoothie the kids beg for!
Another Greens+ product we discovered this year are the +PlusBars. Greens+ makes a variety of Energy, Protein, and Superfood bars that pair well with smoothies in the morning, and make great healthy snacks on the go.
The kids have been taking +PlusBars in their lunch boxes. It’s a treat that I feel good about giving them.
We especially love the Chocolate Peanut Butter Chia Crisp +PlusBars made with crispy brown rice, dark chocolate, and chia seeds.
And guess what… They happen to pair perfectly with today’s smoothie!

I love Greens+ bars & would love to try the Chocolate Chai protein powder. And yes, I LOVE Superfoods ♥
Discovered Greens+ about 16 yrs ago & they are a FABULOUS, honest company.
This would be great for a boost of energy after a work-out.
I eat superfoods all the time. They keep me healthy and I love it.
Those look so good! I have to try them!!
I try to make healthy meals but we are always and the go and sometimes we do not get adequate amounts of nutrition. I would be grateful to try these products
I would love this! Such a nice opportunity!
I have tried the super foods and the peanut butter Plus Bar with protein is my favorite.
It gives me plenty of energy and tastes great almost like a Mary Jane candy at Halloween.
I haven’t had a plus bar, but chia seeds are one of my favorite toppings for salads, yogurt, froyo, etc!
would love to try this. Thanks
I have tried Chia Seeds & Goji Berries (not sure if that is a “super food”) I usually add them to pancake batter or toss on a salad. I’m always looking for ways to improve my diet as well as my family’s .
Great smoothie! Mornings are so rushed, and this would definitely get the kids full before we have to rush out the door.
My husband has been using greens plus berry blast in his morning smoothies for years! I had no idea they had all these other products, yum!
I could definitely use all of the help I can get staying healthy with the new job I just started!
Never have tried a superfood. I think this would come in handy to energize me throughout the day and after my workouts.
I’ve tried Acai berries. I think it would be great for a little cleansing and to build up my immune system.
I have not tried a superfood yet. This should help fuel my tennis game.
I have tried chia seeds and goji berries. I have also tried greens plus multi. Lol, it was okay, should have put it in a smoothie though!
Love this smoothie and those Plus bars are the best-such good flavors.
