Set out a small mixing bowl. Measure and add the mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, garlic powder, and onion powder to the bowl.
Mix until very smooth. Then cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Store the sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5–7 days. Make sure you give it a quick stir before using, as the ingredients may separate slightly over time. I think the sauce is best enjoyed cold; others like it more at room temperature, but either way, it shouldn’t sit out for more than an hour or so.
