Cherry Limeade
I use only lemon-lime soda, maraschino cherry syrup, and fresh squeezed lime juice to make the most sensational cherry limeade soda fountain throwback drink from childhood. It's sweet, bubbly, and super refreshing to enjoy over loads of ice... With a slice of lime and cherry (or two) on top, of course!

Ingredients
- 6 ounces lemon-lime soda like 7 Up or Sprite
- 1 ½ - 2 tablespoons maraschino cherry juice + 2-3 cherries for garnish
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- Ice
- Optional: pinch of salt lime slices or wedges
Instructions
- Fill a high ball glass or tumbler half full with ice.
- Pour in 6 ounces of lemon-lime soda, 1 ½ to 2 tablespoons of cherry juice from the maraschino cherry jar, and 1 tablespoon of freshly squeezed lime juice. Stir well.
- Garnish with a few maraschino cherries from the jar. For a slightly fancier version, stir in a pinch of salt (to intensify the flavors) and lime slices/wedges.

Cherry Limeades are a great platform for fun adult cocktails. Add in 1-2 ounces rum or vodka to kick things up!
