Ingredients
2poundsthick-cut pork chopsabout 4 boneless chops or 3 bone-in
Pat the pork chops dry on both sides and generously sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Stovetop Method: Set a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat.
Set out a mixing bowl, or measuring picture. Combine the honey, Cholula hot sauce, and minced garlic. Mix well.
Once the skillet is hot, place the pork chops in the skillet. Sear the pork chops for 3 minutes per side. Then flip the pork chops again and pour the glaze over the top. Lower the skillet to medium heat, and continue to cook for 1 to 2 additional minutes per side, until the pork chops are cooked through and the glaze is nice and thick.
Notes
Grill Method: You can also grill these honey pork chops! If grilling, preheat the grill to medium heat, 350-400 degrees F. Grill the pork chops for 2 minutes per side. Then brush glaze over the pork chops and continue cooking for an additional 1 minute per side, brushing again, after you flip the pork chops.I personally like the pan-seared method because the minced garlic has longer to cook in the pan, getting nice and soft and sweet.Leftover pork chops will keep well for up to 3-4 days in an airtight container in the fridge. This recipe is great to meal prep for weekly lunches!
