Crunch, mmm.

CRUNCH… Mmmmm!

That’s the sounds you will make when you bite into my nacho hot dog recipe.

(Don’t worry, everyone else around you will be making the same noises.)

CRUNCH… MMMM, oh wow. *splurp-smack* (finger licking) Crunch, crunch, MMMM!

This is the naturally occurring clamor of two Saturday night favorites coming together.

Nachos + Dogs = Palate Euphoria.

Don’t resist it.

Remember “Bob” from the old movie What About Bob?

My kids have recently discovered this movie and watch it over and over, cackling every time.

But I digress… With this week’s “Dog Days of Summer” Nacho Hot Dogs Recipe, Bob has got nothing on you.

Crunch, oh yeah, Mmmmmmmmmm.

Here’s the Breakdown:

  • Bun
  • Hot Dog
  • Crumbled Tortilla Chips (These could be your favorite seasoned tortilla chip)
  • Loads of oozy melty cheese
  • Salsa
  • Guacamole
  • Crema Mexicana (or sour cream)
  • Fresh cilantro

Done!

Nacho Dog Recipe | ASpicyPerspective.com #hotdog #summer #nachos #recipe

Simply load the dogs in the buns, cover them with crushed tortilla chips and cheese and bake them, just like you would bake a big tray of nachos. Then pile on the cool toppings and dinner is served!

Crunch, crunch, YES. Want. More. CRUNCH, mmmm!

My kiddo is going to LOVE this idea. Great idea to combine two kid-loving summer finger foods. I am loving the simplicity of it. This is like a 10 minute dinner. Perfect summer food. Going to slice up some watermelon and call it a night. Easy. Thanks. Great pictures with the creme slowly dripped across.

What does Bobby Flay call it when he puts chips on burgers? Crunchify or something like that. It took me a second to remember that dinner scene from What About Bob. It was good but not better than the Tourette’s scene :)
