Lighting Solutions with Style
If you missed our ASP Headquarters remodel posts last week, don’t worry! We’re sharing more today, focusing on our lighting solutions for the office.
Anytime we remodel a part of our house, the lighting in that space is at the top of my list of things to consider.
Let’s face it, lighting makes or breaks a room.
- Provides clean, efficient, and functional light
- Creates a certain mood in the space
- Makes the room more attractive and inviting
- Can be the eye-candy or showpiece of the room
Bad lighting does the exact opposite… it makes a room feel outdated and standoffish.
Barn Light Electric is a Florida based family-owned business that makes custom porcelain enamel lighting. Porcelain enameled lights offer bold color, and are extremely sturdy. The finish on each light is fired in a kiln, so it does not fade over time.
Barn Light Electric styles range from classic retro finishes to modern lights… check out this new line of Jackson Pollock inspire lights! LOVE.
The beauty of Barn Light Electric is that since the lights are made to order, you can customize every element from: shade style, size, type of light/bulb, color, cord/chain style, and cord length.
That way, you get exactly what you want.
For our office, we wanted to bring a punch of red into the room to give it a modern feel. We chose large deep bowl pendants with a thick chain and a red and white woven cord. Then we paired them with a two retro table lamps in the same color.
Aren’t they gorgeous? They absolutely make our room.
We also added a couple lights to the outside of our detached garage for safety and security. On the outside we decided to go with an older classic style to match the look of our house. One is set to come on at dark and one is motion on a motion sensor, so we have ample light around the office at night.
We are thrilled about the way our new Barn Lights look and the lighting solutions they bring to our new space, inside and out!
Disclosure: Barn Light Electric partnered with us on our office remodel. All opinions are my own.
