Creamy Chocolate Brandy Latte, a warm boozy beverage for cold winter evenings!
Recently, Lt. Dan and I took a trip to the village of Kohler, Wisconsin for their annual food and wine festival. This was my third trip to Kohler (and Dan’s second) yet we would go every single year, if we could make it!
The Kohler Company may be best known for lush shower heads and bathtubs, yet the company makes a variety of products like generators and motors, and owns brands like Anne Sacks tile and Robern furnishings.
Not only that, the original boarding house built for immigrant factory workers has been resurrected as an opulent resort called The American Club with award-winning restaurants and spa, plus the highly esteemed Whistling Straits and Blackwolf Run Golf Courses.
The village of Kohler is a couple’s paradise… Amazing dining options, luxurious 5-star accommodations, golf, spa, yoga, outdoor adventures, shopping, and uncountable ways to relax.
Check out the yoga facility!
Kohler hosts events all year long. However, the Kohler Food and Wine Experience is a fabulous weekend festival each fall, especially for foodies and wine lovers!
This year the Kohler Food and Wine Experience brought in celebrity chefs Aaron Sanchez, Amanda Freitag, Spike Mendelsohn, and Fabio Vivianni, along with many wine experts.
Each session offered the opportunity to learn from, and get up close and personal these amazing people.
We had coffee with Amanda Freitag to discuss her new book!
Rebecca, Me, Becky, and Katerina
We were all thrilled to experience the festival parties and events (my favorite is always Taste of the Vine), dine in Kohler’s renowned restaurants, and relax at the spa together.

Yet this year Kohler had a few additional surprises in store for us…
For instance, Trap Shooting!
I don’t often have the opportunity to pull out the big guns, so to speak, but we did in Kohler.
One morning we met with an instructor to learn how to trap shoot. I was pretty sure I was going to embarrass myself. Yet in the end, we all hit a few flying targets, had tons of funs, and felt ridiculously empowered.
Trap shooting may be my new favorite thing.
We also took a shuttle over to Whistling Straits Golf Course, known for hosting the PGA several times, and as the future site of the Ryder Cup.
Although I’m not a golfer, seeing this magical stretch of land along Lake Michigan is an absolute must.
Lt. Dan is a golfer, so he was in paradise!
Another wonderful surprise was the launch of Kohler’s newest endeavor, Dark Chocolate Brandy!
Mr. Kohler has a way of taking everything he touches to the next level of excellence, and this Dark Chocolate Brandy is no exception.
In fact, it’s insanely delicious!
I’m not a big drinker, but I could sip Kohler Dark Chocolate Brandy all day long. No kidding.
It’s smooth, with an intense chocolate appeal, yet is not overly sweet.
I’ve been thinking about all the ways I can use it for weeks now…. So today’s Chocolate Brandy Latte is a fabulous boozy treat for the holidays, kissed with Kohler’s Dark Chocolate Brandy.
If you are going to buy one specialty liquor for the holidays this year, this is the one!!
