5 Easy Halloween Treats Made with Brownie Bites, that you, or your kids, can make this year!

Let me guess…
You always plan to make super-cute Halloween Treats for your neighborhood party, yet when the moment arrives you crumble under the pressure of the thousands of elaborate creations you find on Pinterest.
Feeling defeated, you pour a stiff drink and begrudgingly make plain old chocolate chip cookies instead.
I feel you.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve done this in other areas of my life. My Martha Stewart mentality can get the best of me and operate several levels above my skill set.
Don’t worry, this year will be different.
Today I’m going to share 5 fun Halloween Treats you can absolutely make. In fact, if you chicken out, your kids could even make them for you.
Using store-bought or homemade brownie bites as a base, you can made adorable (or spooky if you’d rather) Witches Cauldrons, Spiders, Owls, Pumpkin Patches, and Slithering Snacks to delight your party guest.
They are just as fun to eat as they are to make, so that you feel like a big-time winner this Halloween.
Are you ready?
5 Easy Halloween Treats Made with Brownie Bites

Bubbling Witches Cauldrons
What You Need:
- Brownie Bites
- Pretzel Sticks
- Lime Green Candy Melts
- Mini Jaw Breakers or other small round candies

Easy Steps:
- Melt the green candy melts in the microwave and pour a small dollop on top of a brownie bite as the witches brew.
- While the candy melt is still molten, insert a pretzel stick as the wooden spoon handle, then drop a few mini jaw breakers on top for bubbles.
- Repeat and allow them to dry.

Spooky Spiders
What You Need:
- Brownie Bites
- Black Licorice Laces
- Candy Eyes
- French Burnt Peanuts
- A toothpick
- Chocolate or candy melts for “glue”

Easy Steps:
- Cut the licorice laces into 1 1/2 – 2 inch pieces. Turn the brownie bites over, top-side-down and poke 8 holes around the base with a toothpick. Insert a licorice leg into each hole.
- Press a red french burnt peanut into the top of the brownie bite as the marking (or egg sack) on the spider.
- Then use melted chocolate to glue the eyes onto the spider. Repeat.

Flying Whoot Owls
What You Need:
- Brownie Bites
- Black Licorice Wheels
- British Dolly Mix Candies or Allsorts
- Chocolate for “glue”

Easy Steps:
- Cut the licorice wheels in half as wings. Glue them to the side of a brownie bite with melted chocolate.
- Glue two round Dolly Mix Candies on the top of the brownie bite for eyes.
- Cut a square Dolly Mix Candy into triangles and glue one piece under the eyes as a beak. Repeat.

Pumpkin Patches
What You Need:

Easy Steps:
- Cut the green licorice laces into 3-4 inch pieces. Tie one or two loose knots in the laces to make them look like pumpkin vines.
- Melt the candy melts. Place a dollop of molten candy melt on top of a brownie bite.
- While the candy melt is still warm, lay a vine across the candy melt and sit 2-3 pumpkin candies on top. Repeat and dry.

Slithering Snakes (Or Sea Monsters)
What You Need:
- Brownie Bites
- Candy Rainbow Belts
- Candy Eyes
- Licorice Pastels
- Red or Pink Strawberry Laces
- Chocolate for “glue”

Easy Steps:
- Cut several brownie bites in half and lay them top-to-top, in a wavy pattern, to give the effect of slithering humps.
- Cut the Rainbow Belts into triangles and use them to decorate the humps.
- Place a whole brownie bite at the front as a head. Use melted chocolate to glue eyes onto the head, then top the head with Licorice Pastels for spikes or horns.
- Cut a small piece of strawberry lace for a tongue. Cut a slit in the front of the lace. Then make a hole in the brownie bite face and insert the tongue.

See?? You can totally do this, and it’s even fun!
No stress this Halloween… Just pure colorful sugary magic. I promise.
You can find most of these candies at a candy store or old-fashion general store. Or buy them online!
You can also buy brownie bites at many grocery chains. However, I have a fabulous brownie bite recipe here.
