25 Sensational Soups for Fall
Know what I’ve been craving lately? Soup! Ladles and ladles full of hot steaming soup to warm the tummy and soul.
Last week we had one last hurrah at the beach in Kiawah, South Carolina. It was a muggy week, but perfect weather for splashing in the waves before the kids head back to school. We focused our time on sleeping in, riding bikes under the Live Oaks and Palms, and digging our feet deep in the sand.
One morning we took a long ride several miles down the bike trail to a little shopping area. We parked our bikes, and perused the boutiques and galleries. After exploring a while, we noticed a little lunch spot called Ladles, a restaurant focused on serving up stellar soups with a salad or sandwich on the side.
Did I mention it was hot in South Carolina? Really hot.
Yet once we opened Ladles’ door, the aroma of garlicy broth overtook our rationale and we sat down to a piping-hot liquid lunch.
I’ve been dreaming about soup ever since.
So I thought today I’d share some of my personal favorite soups here on ASP and around the web.
