Monica Peralto—postedOctober 19, 2012at5:58 amI love Halloween! We make hot dog mummies every year before heading out to trick or treat.

(Hot dogs wrapped in crescent roll dough strips.) Then I like to “steal” all the chocolate out of my kid’s bag. She gets a few!

C.M. Cole—postedOctober 19, 2012at5:59 amHow do I pick a favourite?

Mainly, it’s something made with and for my family.

I do, however, like making the finger-shaped sugar cookies, with almond fingernails, painted with red gel icing (usually).

Sometimes I’ll even dye the cookie dough green.

Kayle (The Cooking Actress)—postedOctober 20, 2012at6:12 amI LOVE the Halloween Reese’s peanut butter cups-in the shape of pumpkins! Yummm :D

Reply

Chris—postedOctober 20, 2012at7:59 amI love all things pumkin this time of year!

Reply

Chris—postedOctober 20, 2012at8:01 amI tend to stay on the light side, since there is so much candy at arm´s reach. For ex: I make salads in fun colors!

Reply

Chris—postedOctober 20, 2012at8:04 amI love that I can choose among so many McCormick spices to spruce up any salad for a fun and unusual flavor. My family would not usually go for the exotic spices I use this time of year. I keep them interested so I don´t have to make so much sugary desserts.

Reply

Chris—postedOctober 20, 2012at8:08 amNow, for the sinful treats: peanut butter anything: cupcakes, cakes, cookies. Make a thin layer of icing, with the aid of some McCormick extracts.

Reply

Chris—postedOctober 20, 2012at8:09 amI use McCormick extracts all year round- my secret ingredient in all things savory and sweet. This time of year is no exception. Thank you.

Reply

Chris—postedOctober 20, 2012at8:11 amI use pepper and sea salt in my black-spooky-yummy truffle balls. Thank you McCormick.

Reply

Chris—postedOctober 20, 2012at8:13 amYou would not beleive it- I make a pumkin and beef cubes soup–very spooky. With the aid of McCormick spices it is so yummy my family buys into this Halloween “treat”

Reply

Chris—postedOctober 20, 2012at8:17 amIn the cookie department- I love to make dark chocolate chips, with variations using the different McCormick extracts, which I love. When placing on the cookie sheet I make sure some dark chocolate pieces are placed to look like eyes and mouth, using different size chips or I chopp up the chocolate morsels.
