I love Halloween! We make hot dog mummies every year before heading out to trick or treat.
(Hot dogs wrapped in crescent roll dough strips.) Then I like to “steal” all the chocolate out of my kid’s bag. She gets a few!

How do I pick a favourite?

Mainly, it’s something made with and for my family.

I do, however, like making the finger-shaped sugar cookies, with almond fingernails, painted with red gel icing (usually).

Sometimes I’ll even dye the cookie dough green.

I love that I can choose among so many McCormick spices to spruce up any salad for a fun and unusual flavor. My family would not usually go for the exotic spices I use this time of year. I keep them interested so I don´t have to make so much sugary desserts.

In the cookie department- I love to make dark chocolate chips, with variations using the different McCormick extracts, which I love. When placing on the cookie sheet I make sure some dark chocolate pieces are placed to look like eyes and mouth, using different size chips or I chopp up the chocolate morsels.
